We recommend you keep a log of your use of Cordyceps. Keep track of amounts, dates and time of day. Also note diet, exercise, and how you felt while consuming Cordyceps. Some of this data will be inputted by Nancy Kula into a Long-Form document that is shared with you for personal insight, to share with your health care professional, and the researchers listed on the Science Driven page.

Self-Monitoring Blood Testing*

Monitoring blood while consuming Cordyceps militaris would be prudent. Previous participants tested once a month, while others tested every two weeks. Talk to your health care professional about this. If you want to self-monitor, as many participants have done, there are many walk-in blood testing facilities.

If your blood counts revert to normal ranges, a “maintenance dose” of Cordyceps is likely unnecessary.

• Omega-3 and Turmeric/Curcumin may negatively interact with Cordyceps and platelet levels.

• Of course, continue all prescribed medications!

Outside of the US

You may have to find another source of Cordyceps militaris not produced in the US.

For Australians-one Australian participant found success with Forager Superfoods.

Look for Cordyceps militaris fruiting bodies.

Capsules, tinctures and pre-powdered Cordyceps appear to not be as effective.
