We are science driven

Driven by the Data

The data is being shared with a Cordyceps and CLL working group, comprising the CLL Society, NIH, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Mayo Clinic, University of Cincinnati, Cancer Commons, U of Nottingham, UK, & Dentali Botanical Sciences.

Below you will discover a considerable amount of Cordyceps resources, and your options to participate in this project through sharing your data with the Anticancer Thrivers Facebook group volunteer team.

Learn about NIH’s Natural History Study of MBL, CLL, and SLL, and how those using Cordyceps can be followed during this trial. (NIH covers travel expenses for your participation.)

CLL Society

The CLL Society is the best resource for anyone who either has CLL or loves someone with CLL. They are advocates for further study of Cordyceps and CLL.  All the doctors on the CLL Society Medical Advisory Board are aware of the growing use of Cordyceps and are open to discussing its pros and cons with their patients.

National Institutes of Health

Dr. Sun, as the principal investigator, and Drs. Wiestner and Pleyer are running the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) long-standing Natural History Trial for patients with CLL / SLL in Bethesda, MD.

Whether using Cordyceps or not, you may want to join the Natural History Trial. The NIH reimburses travel costs within the U.S.

Dana Farber Cancer Institute

Dr. Matt Davids at Dana Farber in Boston, MA is interested in studying CLL cell lines.

Mayo Clinic

Dr. Neil Kay, Professor of Medicine and Dr. Lindsey E. Roeker with Wieguo Han, Ph.D., at  Mayo Clinic, are leading lab and patient  investigations on Cordyceps and CLL.

The University of Cincinnati

Dr. John Byrd, Department Chair, is conducting a mouse model study of Cordyceps at The University of Cincinnati.

Cancer Commons

Dr. DeLeys Brandman discussed their ability to add high-quality Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and possibly lab data to a patient registry.

Cancer Commons distinguishes itself as a non-profit network focused on optimizing patient outcomes and fostering collective learning through a continuous learning health system.

The University of Nottingham, UK

Cornelia de Moor, Ph.D.  at The University of Nottingham, UK.  has been studying Cordyceps for years. Her current work is on the role of mRNA in gene expression and the therapeutic potential of the polyadenylation inhibitor cordycepin, which is isolated from the caterpillar fungus Cordyceps militaris.

Dentali Botanical Sciences

Steven Dentali, PhD, is a Botanical Science professional with over 30 years post-graduate experience working in the herbal/botanical supplement industry, and as a volunteer to several botanical standard setting organizations.
